Fair-use rules for contacting other members through the network.
Quote requests, introduction requests, and direct messages exist to help members find and work with each other, not as a channel for unsolicited marketing. To keep the network useful for everyone, the following applies to all members:
The Request a Quote and messaging features are provided so members can seek freight-forwarding cooperation, asking another member to quote on a shipment, propose a partnership, or respond to a genuine business enquiry. They are not intended for general marketing, newsletters, or promotion of unrelated products or services.
A member is considered to be misusing the network's communication tools if they use them to send unsolicited marketing, unrelated sales pitches, or repeated messages to a member who has not responded or has asked not to be contacted, regardless of whether the recipient is a current member.
We take misuse of the platform's communication tools seriously, in line with our code of conduct. A member found to be sending spam or unsolicited marketing through the network may have their access to messaging or quote requests restricted, and repeated or serious misuse can result in suspension or termination of membership.
Occasionally, scammers send emails that appear to come from a company or platform they have no connection to, sometimes including a false "from" address. If you receive an email that claims to be from Logistics Global Network but looks suspicious, for example if it includes an unexpected attachment or asks for payment or sensitive information outside our normal application and renewal process, please don't open any attachment or click any link, and forward it to us so we can investigate.
If you receive spam, unsolicited marketing, or a suspicious message through the network, contact us via our Contact page with as much detail as you can, the sender, the date, and a copy of the message, so we can look into it.
