Our qualification process reduces risk; it doesn't remove the need for your own checks before you trade.
Every member of Logistics Global Network passes our admission checks before joining. Even so, disputes between businesses can still happen, from a simple misunderstanding to, in rare cases, deliberate fraud. Before entering into any agreement with another member, or with any company you meet through this site, we strongly encourage you to carry out your own due diligence, just as you would with any new business relationship.
If you've tried every reasonable way to reach the other party and believe you may be the victim of fraud, contact us first. We'll attempt to help re-establish communication and may review the member's standing in the network. That said, we're not able to get involved in the substance of a commercial dispute; the underlying contract or agreement is between you and the other business, not with Logistics Global Network.
Beyond contacting us, we'd recommend reporting the matter to the relevant law-enforcement authority in the country involved, and speaking with a legal professional there about your options. Debt-recovery services also exist that specialize in pursuing unpaid international trade debts, typically for a percentage of any amount recovered.
Our admission qualification process is designed to reduce risk before a company ever appears in the directory, not to eliminate it entirely or to make us a party to your transactions. This guide is not exhaustive, and following it doesn't guarantee a dispute-free relationship, but going through these steps before you trade meaningfully lowers your risk. See also our Disclaimer for more on how responsibility is shared between the network and its members.
